The Sickle Cell Affinity Network (S.C.A.N.) is a non-profit health organization working to highlight the lack of proper treatment and medical specialists for individuals living by sickle cell disease. S.C.A.N. focuses on sending resources, providing information and connecting support to provide better opportunity for self-treatment. We are established in N.E. Ohio in hopes of connecting nationwide to establish a community of support and shared stories. We are here to help.

Our mission is to provide resources, information, and support to individuals battling sickle cell disease and sickle cell anemia. We aim to build a community of engagement and information sharing to benefit the lives of individuals affected by sickle cell in north-east Ohio. We want to connect individuals and provide a platform for support and knowledge exchange.
